Bridget L. Mullins

About Me

Originally from Montana, Bridget L. Mullins (she/her/ella) came to New Mexico to attend the University of New Mexico where she earned a master’s degree in Latin American Studies with an emphasis in Human Rights and Spanish language, as well as her law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2011. She received her undergraduate degree in Spanish from Montana State University in 2006. Bridget is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Bridget represents clients in the areas of Family Law, Guardianships, Probate, Estate Planning, Elder law, Medicaid planning, and Special Needs Planning.  Bridget has presented on multiple occasions to the NM Family Law Bar regarding estate planning, probate, and incapacity.  Because of Bridget’s unique combination of practice areas, she has developed a specialty involving Medicaid divorces, death during divorce, incapacity and divorce, and planning for disabled children in divorce. She became collaboratively certified in 2024. Bridget looks forward to working with her collaborative cohort to find ways to utilize estate planning tools to help serve our clients.

Bridget is on the board of the Family Law Section of the New Mexico State Bar and currently serves as Vice President of the New Mexico Guardianship Association. In her spare time, she loves reading, cooking, and exploring the mountain west with her husband and two small children.
